Hand Thrown Ceramic by Kairava Gullatz

Kairava has a quirky perspective on life which she captures in her decorative, functional pieces. Using different methods like throwing, pinching and building she manipulates the clay into her now famous bird jugs, of which this large one is a newcomer to the flock. It is bold and beautiful, with a large voluptuous body to carry more liquid, and has a long beak to pour well. And yet when not being used, who wouldn’t want him or her around.
