Hand Thrown Ceramic by Kairava Gullatz

Kairava has a quirky perspective on life which she captures in her decorative, functional pieces. Using different methods like throwing, pinching and building she manipulates the clay into her now famous bird jugs, each one is hand-painted with its own expressive design: surprised eyes, moody eyes, dreamy eyes, hilarious eyes….and always mascara. And yet when not being used, who wouldn’t want them around.
