In “Endless” Karen Walters explores a looping flowing extended expression of an infinity symbol. Just as it would normally enclose back in on itself, the infinity pushes forth and allows itself a final loop, a truly endless journey. The depth of the Macrocarpa is exquisitely enhanced through the application of a deep stain, which gives way to the warm glow of the textured wood below. Karen’s pieces are always impeccably carved and finished and this is a particularly evident example of her masterful skill set. Simply stunning.
