The title is an old English folk song but for my purposes, it’s intended to portray genuine childlike naivety of the bear cub and the babes in a situation fraught with danger. For humanity to be confronted by a pandemic still largely unable to be thwarted or contained requires some self-control and considered actions. For most of us, we are Babes in the Wood.

This bear is the last one Annie will make. They are large, require many firing and are difficult to control with a lot of complexities. This one is a beauty, with the eyes so real and soulful, I fall in love every time I look at it.
