Lucy creates intuitive abstract pieces with soft tones. Her paintings play with the idea of physical & emotional landscapes as one. She is interested in the way color balances each other in a painting & the healing properties of color in a room. Many of her paintings are inspired by natural earth elements, forms & metaphysics.

A dance between grief & grace. The meeting point of two worlds at a waterfall. Lucy's grief of losing her mother to cancer two years ago, has been a driving force for her recent work. Her paintings depict an intuitive landscape that blurs the line between the physical & spiritual world. The abstract movement of water, frozen in time, represents the emotional body. Her earthy rock forms ground the compositions against the light gestural brushstrokes.
