Graeme Hitchcocks cast glass sculptures are enigmas. You see it, inevitably think “it's beautiful” and assume you know what it looks like… However as you move around the piece, the way the light and colour dances, moves and swirls inside - well, it's not just one sculpture, but many sculptures dancing and engaging you over and over again from every angle.
Each is one of a kind, as there is always limited control over the flow of colour or colours, how they flow and merge. That is the beauty of pieces made by hand.
