Natalie Salisbury
We love...
Natalie has captured the gap between generations. Her beautiful, delicate and feminine work looks beautiful on such a variety of women, that there isn't a piece that can't be found to suit even the most particular person. We also love the tone of gold that Natalie uses. It is warm, stands out, different and current. A fan we are for sure! ARTFORM.

Feature
As a contemporary jewellery designer and maker Natalie creates dramatic yet wearable bespoke pieces of work to adorn and decorate the body for both special occasions and everyday life. Trained primarily in metalwork but with an aptitude for fabrics and textile design Natalie combines materials such as lace into design collections that explore pattern, repetition and texture. Much of her work involves a strong focus on rich floral aesthetics and bold colourings. Natalie is inspired by fashion and theatrical costume, old school glamour and burlesque, and she translates her references and research into work that varies in both the processes used to design it and the materials chosen to make it. The result is a broad portfolio of work that includes interesting, delicate, but yet strong statement pieces.
Having graduated in June 2010 from the School of Jewellery in Birmingham in the UK, she became part of a government run incubation and mentoring scheme entitled Design Space where she shared a workshop with other emerging jewellery designers and silversmiths. Following her year at Design Space she became a founder member of a Jewellery & Silversmithing Collective entitled Quarter Studios, also based at the heart of the famous Jewellery Quarter.
