Cathy has had a long term connection with Matakana, now residing in Auckland, and gets very excited when she pops in for a chat and sees that yet another of her beautiful creations has left the gallery for a new home. Pure passion for flowers! ARTFORM.

Cathy understand flowers – her background as a florist means a deep understanding of petals, forms, shapes and the softness each bud requires, therefore in the perfect position to sculpt them. Developing new shapes and pieces, starting with a loose concept and seeing how the clay responds and where this takes her. Each piece is highly individual dependant on a number of factors.
